LOG BOOK PROGRAM

Friends of the South Street Police Mini-Station

The South Street Police Detail “Police Log Book” program is an initiative to help businesses in the Police Service Area (PSA) 1. Participating businesses have a Police Log Book that the South Street Police Detail officers stop in and sign on a routine basis. At the end of the month, the sergeants come and count the number of signatures in all the log books in the PSA 1. This program is effective in creating relationships between police officers and businesses in the communities, as well as serving as a deterrent to crime.
